ACCLAIM SERIES - GENERAL INFORMATION
All cabinet shells are 20 to 22 - gauge steel and have a seamless back top
with reinforced corners One lock two keys are standard on all cabinets.
Keying
combinations are random unless “To be keyed alike” is specified when ordering. There
is no extra cost for this option. All cabinets contain a patented interlocking safety
system which allows only one drawer to be opened at a time. Each cabinet choice must have a specified
on the order.

All drawers have 11" high 22 – gauge steel fronts. The drawer body comes slotted on 3" centers to accept plate dividers.
The drawer ends are punched to accept side to side folder bars, as well as pocketed to interface with drawer suspensions.
Vertical cabinets are available in either 15" wide (Letter size) or 18" wide (Legal size). The standard depth on all vertical cabinets is 27-5/8”. All drawers have an 11" high front and folder bars are standard. A compressor follower can be ordered and must be specified on order. Also, a side to side hanging channel can be ordered for front to back filing. (See Vertical accessories page: for further details.)
Pedestals are available in sizes and drawer combinations to suit any personal storage requirement. Freestanding and mobile units are designed to fit below most work surfaces. Hanging and worksurface supporting units are sized to fit under Systems Furniture. A mounting kit is provided with each unit to allow installation under other compatible workstations.
Body:
Twenty-gauge steel body with 18 and 20 gauge steel top and box frame front
and back uprights. Uprights are notched in 3 intervals for drawer suspension mounting.

Width:
All products are 15" wide.
Adjustable Glides:
Freestanding and floor supporting pedestals include four glides, adjustable from outside the cabinet.
Depth:
Products are available in two standard depths: 21-5/8”, and 27-5/8”.
Counterbalance:
Counterbalance weight included in all mobiles units and is recommended on freestanding units.
Caster Kit:
Consists of four twin-wheel hooded casters. Front two casters are locking; rear two casters are non-locking. Counterbalance weight included in all mobile units.
Drawers:
Fronts: Two-piece metal construction. Twenty-two gauge steel outer skin welded to 22-gauge inner liner. With full width inset pull. Drawer fronts overlap front of pedestal.
Three-inch (pencil) drawer:
Single wall two-piece construction. Body 22-gauge; back 22-gauge.
Operates on two sections ¾ extension ball bearing suspensions.
Six-inch (box) drawer:
Single wall two-piece construction. Body 22-gauge; back 22-gauge. Operates on two
sections ¾ extension ball bearing suspensions.
Twelve-inch (file) and 15" (EDP) drawer:
Single wall two-piece construction. Body 22-gauge; back 22-gauge. Mounted on full extension slide arm suspension.
